Data Deletion Instructions
You can request deletion of data associated with your CrossPost account and connected Meta accounts (Facebook/Instagram) at any time.
What data CrossPost may store
- Connected account tokens (encrypted), account IDs, and basic profile/page identifiers required for publishing.
- Job and post records, including timestamps, platform, and publish status.
- Temporary video storage keys (R2 object keys), auto-deleted by retention policy.
How to request deletion
Method A: In-app account removal
Disconnect platform accounts from CrossPost settings. Full self-service deletion controls are coming soon.
Method B: Email request
Send an email to clevernotes.online@gmail.com with:
- Subject: CrossPost Data Deletion Request
- The email used in CrossPost
- Facebook/Instagram user ID (optional, if known)
We will verify ownership and then delete or anonymize applicable data, typically within 30 days.
Remove CrossPost from Facebook settings
In Facebook, go to Settings, then Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations), and remove CrossPost. After that, email us to request deletion of any remaining data in our systems.
